The new energy heavy truck industry is witnessing accelerated growth. Sales of China's new energy heavy trucks have maintained robust growth for seven consecutive months since March, with September sales topping 20,000 units, hitting a historic high.

CCTV footage showcased a highly active production line at SANY's intelligent manufacturing base. Zhang Daming, Deputy General Manager of SANY TRUCK Sales & Marketing Company, highlighted what he termed the“SANY growth speed”:

“This year, the domestic sales of SANY's new energy heavy trucks have surged by over 150% year-on-year, with orders scheduled through the end of December. To meet soaring demand, our production lines are operating at full capacity, rolling out one electric heavy truck every six minutes, with an annual production capacity of 120,000 units.”

Notable Achievements in Globalization

SANY TRUCK has also delivered standout performance in overseas markets. Liu Fengfeng, General Manager of SANY TRUCK International Sales & Marketing Company, told CCTV:

“We project that the overseas sales of SANY electric heavy-duty trucks will account for 40% of SANY TRUCK's total sales in 2025, rising to 50% by 2026.”

The report also featured procurement delegations from Uruguay and Sweden visiting SANY’s industrial park for order negotiations. Customers noted that China's new energy products are more mature than their European counterparts. Beyond product quality, SANY's comprehensive after-sales support and integrated solutions, such as microgrid systems, have further strengthened its competitiveness in international markets.

What's behind the rapid adoption of new energy heavy trucks? A logistics director from a trading company, which operates 201 SANY new energy trucks, shared insights on their benefits:

“Compared to diesel trucks, SANY's new energy models have significantly improved our operational efficiency through digital management systems. With substantially lower energy costs and maintenance expenses cut by half, the payback period is shortened to about two years.”
