On the morning of June 30, six brand-new new energy heavy-duty trucks sounded their horns and set off from the China Merchants Logistics Centre in Hong Kong, marking the official launch of Sinotrans' "Greater Bay Area Cross-Border Green Transport Link".

This inaugural fleet of the "Greater Bay Area Cross-Border Green Transport Link" consists of Hong Kong version electric heavy-duty trucks with right-hand drive provided by SANY Group. These represent the first batch of electric heavy-duty trucks registered and licensed in Hong Kong, and the first batch deployed for cross-border transport applications within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the product launch ceremony, Sinotrans Hong Kong and SANY China Wealth Hong Kong signed a letter of intent for the procurement of new energy vehicles and comprehensive deepening of logistics cooperation on behalf of Sinotrans and SANY Group respectively. This signifies the further expansion of Sinotrans' green logistics ecosystem.

Feng Boming, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Group, pointed out that as the unified operational platform for China Merchants Group's logistics business, Sinotrans is deeply promoting high-end, international, intelligent, and green development. Driven by "digitalization + greening" as dual engines, it is actively exploring innovations in green logistics technology applications and continuously deepening green and low-carbon practices.

He stated that the demand for efficient and green cross-border transport services in the Greater Bay Area is becoming increasingly urgent.
