On August 25, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the "2025 5G Factory Directory," with the "SANY Intelligent Truck 5G Factory" making the list, earning national recognition.

To advance the innovative development of "5G + Industrial Internet," accelerate the construction of high-level 5G factories, and drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, MIIT has been actively promoting related initiatives. The newly announced "2025 5G Factory Directory" includes 560 projects across 48 industries. Regions across China have been cultivating and building 5G factories in accordance with the Guidelines for the Construction of Fully 5G-Connected Factories (MIIT Information Management Office [2022] No. 23), achieving significant results in integrating the digital economy with the real economy.

The selected "SANY Intelligent Truck 5G Factory" adopts industry-leading 5G + Industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing technologies, aiming to establish a world-class manufacturing facility for heavy trucks and key components. The overall plan follows a "1 network + 8 application scenarios" framework. By deploying base stations and MEC, the factory has built a high-broadband, low-latency, wide-coverage, and highly secure industrial 5G private network. This efficiently connects data acquisition terminals with intelligent production and operational equipment, enabling the construction of a intelligent manufacturing and digital service platform. The factory has implemented 5G in eight industrial application scenarios: flexible manufacturing in production line, collaborative equipment operation, machine visual quality inspection, equipment fault diagnosis, production site monitoring, smart logistics in plant areas, production process traceability, and production energy efficiency management. These applications are demonstrated across the entire manufacturing process of intelligent trucks and their core components, including stamping, welding, assembly, and logistics.

The SANY Intelligence Truck Industrial Park is SANY Group’s first fully digital and intelligent industrial park, designed to set a world-class benchmark for "intelligent manufacturing." The Intelligent Truck 5G Factory, covering 200,000 square meters, has been recognized as a "Heavy Commercial Vehicle Smart Factory Based on 5G + Industrial Internet" and a digital transformation flagship project in Hunan Province, serving as a "Hunan model" for accelerating the digital transformation of manufacturing.
