On Lunar New Year’s Eve in 2025, as families across China gathered in celebration, SANY Truck overseas service engineer ‌Ma Hongqi enjoyed an ‌"online reunion"‌ with his family from a service station in Thailand. This Spring Festival, he chose to stay on duty, safeguarding 170 SANY trucks across the country.

 

A Return Ticket Swapped for a Flight

 

On February 14, Ma just returned home for training, his luggage filled with gifts for family where he was yearning for. Yet a message from Indonesia halted all his plans.

A client’s vehicle shut down, which paralyzed business operations. Without hesitation, he ‌swapped his homebound train ticket for the earliest flight to Palembang, Indonesia‌, in which case the client’s urgency became the highest command. Upon arrival, he and  R&D colleague Li Shujiang rushed to the site.

 


Their mission was not merely fixing a single fault, but an ultimate test of the vehicle’s resilience on harsh road. Through precise diagnostics, they identified and resolved ‌battery leakage‌. But Ma didn’t stop there. He worked with his team to advance the optimization of ‌battery frame, enhancing product durability and preventing possible similar failures in the future. What started as an emergency repair evolved into a ‌proactive technological upgrade.


 

“Service Manager” for 309 Trucks across 7 Countries/Regions

 

The urgent mission in Indonesia epitomized Ma’s daily work. Over three years with SANY TRUCK, his responsibilities expanded to ‌309 trucks‌ across seven regions: Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Philippines, and Vietnam.

 


While directly managing 170 etrucks in Thailand, he recognized that empowering local teams builds the strongest service network. Since 2025, he has organized ‌over 20 training sessions‌ that served over ‌100 local agent engineers‌. He shared complicated technical principles and troubleshooting methodologies, ensuring that clients receive professional aid instantly wherever he might be.


 

24,480 km -A Sky-Traced Map of Duty

 

Vast territories bind his work to the sky. By early 2025, his flight mileage hit ‌24,480 km, equivalent to that of over half the globe‌. Each kilometer embodies the trust and urgent need of clients. His journeys carry little leisure but immense purpose, that is a borderless commitment representing the very essence of SANY service‌.
