Recently, the delivery ceremony for the 120th SANY electric heavy truck of Linyi Gangyao Logistics was held successfully.

Since its fleet electrification strategy launched in August 2024, Gangyao Logistics has purchased SANY electric heavy trucks in eight batches, with the 425kWh flat-roof and 600kWh series as its main purchased products. These vehicles are primarily deployed to transport mineral powder and cement in southwestern Shandong, with operations spanning a 200–300 km radius around Linyi. On average, each truck drives over 13,000 km per month.

When asked about the repeated purchases, Ben Huanliang, General Manager of Gangyao Logistics, noted that cost-effectiveness is the core driver. "Compared with diesel trucks, we save over one-third on energy costs by using electricity, enabling the vehicles to recoup their investment within two years. Based on a full fleet replacement, we can cut nearly 10 million RMB annually in fuel expenses."
