The deal marks China’s largest-ever single export order for new energy tractors to date.
Changsha, June 23 — More than 800 electric heavy-duty trucks lined up and officially flagged off at the SANY Intelligent Truck Industrial Park.

Senior executives including Zhou Wanchun, Vice President of SANY Group and General Manager of SANY TRUCK Sales & Marketing Company; Wu Shengnan, General Manager of SANY Commercial Vehicles Intelligent Manufacturing Company; and Felix Liu, General Manager of SANY TRUCK International Sales & Marketing Company, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with frontline production workers, marketing and service personnel and R&D engineers dedicated to the overseas markets to take a solemn pledge.

At the command given by Zhou Wanchun, hundreds of heavy trucks honked in unison. Amid the deafening blare of horns, the fleet rolled out of the park’s gates as if a blue blade had just been unsheathed. The trucks will head southbound all the way to Guangzhou Port, embarking on a thousand-kilometer transit journey.

For a long time, the overseas expansion of China’s new energy vehicles (NEVs) has been dominated by consumer passenger cars. SANY’s landmark 800-plus-unit overseas order, however, offers a new testament to the world: the spillover effect of China’s new energy industrial chain has transcended the boundaries of passenger vehicles to achieve deep penetration in heavy industrial equipment, a sector defined by higher technical barriers and far more demanding operating conditions.

This historic leap is underpinned by tangible financial figures that speak louder than any slogan. Boasting unmatched TCO advantages and exceptional adaptability to extreme operating environments, these SANY electric heavy-duty trucks translate the grand dual-carbon vision into tangible financial benefits for customers. According to estimates, the fleet is set to save the client roughly USD 22 million in annual operating expenses and cut carbon dioxide emissions by around 80,000 tons each year. Environmental sustainability no longer comes at a steep premium; instead, it delivers clear operational profits alongside a cleaner, bluer sky.

Several massive fleets of SANY Sky Blue trucks are traveling day and night, speeding toward the coastline. On June 27, more than 800 SANY electric heavy-duty trucks will converge at Guangzhou Port to be loaded onto a mega-vessel.
When this touch of SANY Sky Blue, symbolizing SANY's vision of comprehensive low-carbon development, keeps rolling on foreign land, the global wave of commercial vehicle electrification spearheaded by Chinese industrial strength has only just begun.
